A violent gang in one of Stockholm's suburbs is suspected of another fatal shooting and the Stockholm police are conducting a cross-border operation to prosecute the leader of the gang.

Rojin, a Kurdish-Finnish woman in Helsinki, faces upheaval when her father unexpectedly visits, forcing her to confront her past. Her family life with husband Ferhat and adopted daughter Azad unravels, revealing a complicated history.

Kenza and Yaël are two young French women who go to Syria to fight alongside the Kurdish forces. There they meet Zara, a Yezidi survivor. Born in different cultures but deeply united, the women-fighters heal their past wounds and discover their present strength, especially the fear they inspire in their opponents. The three young women soon bound together and become true sisters-in-arms.
